ABOUT MAGHREB DANCE ACADEMY
Maghreb Dance Academy is a London-based dance school dedicated to celebrating the rich traditions of North African dance. Inspired by the vibrant cultures of Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, the academy offers women a welcoming space to explore movement, music and cultural heritage.
Founded by Nadya A., the academy was created from a deep passion for sharing the beauty of Maghreb dance traditions. With roots connected to Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, Nadya grew up surrounded by the rhythms, celebrations and storytelling that make North African dance so powerful and expressive.
Maghreb Dance Academy brings these traditions to life through classes, workshops and cultural events in Central London. Each session blends technique, musicality and cultural context, allowing students to not only learn the movements but also understand the stories and traditions behind them.
More than just dance classes, the academy is a space where women can reconnect with their bodies, build confidence and form meaningful connections through movement and culture.

Nadya founded Maghreb Dance Academy to share the beauty and diversity of North African dance traditions with women in London. Through teaching, workshops and cultural events, she is passionate about preserving the spirit, joy and storytelling of Maghreb dance.
